And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
St Matthew 24:3-4
I extend to you warmest greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have been experiencing troubling times since the beginning of 2020. The restrictions placed upon our liberty has resulted in far-reaching consequences for us as a Church family, and as individuals. However, I urge you not to be fearful during these times, but to trust and hope in the salvation found in Jesus Christ.
I am writing once again in light of the recent steps taken by the UK Government to implement further changes to their Guidelines, we continue to adhere to the recommendations such as:
* HANDS – Wash your hands regularly and for at least 20 seconds.
* FACE – Cover your face in enclosed spaces, especially where social distancing may be difficult and where you will come into contact with people you do not normally meet.
* SPACE – Stay 2 meters apart where possible, or 1 meter with extra precautions in place.
We are so grateful that we are able to gather for worship at our Headquarters and also across many of our local assemblies (please check which of our branches are open by selecting the ‘COGIC Assemblies’ button at the top right of your screen). We are endeavoring to keep you safe by continuing to implement safe-guarding measures. So we ask you to adhere to the measures in place so that we can enjoy the times we have together worshipping our Lord. We are continuing to heed the advice of the UK Government which may impact local assemblies on a location by location basis.
Believers in Jesus Christ let us remain focused. Jesus said in St John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me; let our aim be to lift his Name higher with our praise.
Yours in the Master’s Service
